Dear Parents,
Welcome to the 2008 - 2009 school year. Pio Pico is an urban span (pre-K through 8th grade) school which is dedicated to working collaboratively within our community to facilitate the education of our students so that they understand the importance of life-long learning, and are prepared to successfully compete in an ever-changing,multi-ethnic world.
Please read this booklet carefully and have your child return the last page with your signature to verify that you're aware of the many policies of Pio Pico and LAUSD. You should keep this booklet in a safe place so you can refer to it when any questions might arise. We're looking forward to working with you to assure that all of our students complete a successful year.
